FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL! Haven't been to school in like ages, this was a woohoo journey sorta. Uncle Albert gave me a lift to the city and I managed to catch the Rocket Bus to the Uni (Rocket Buses do not stop until the Uni)I had packed like 2 packets of cooked instant noodles, one hard (but still soft (5 mins isn't enough it seems))boiled egg, and some vegetables, kang kong and beansprout (tao geh). So anyway, when I reached the Uni, I went to the bank and staggered in horror at the length of the bloody queue in front of ONE of the TWO ATMs, and upon checking, found the stupid error message apologising for the ATM being down. Grrrrr. Proceeded to line up for like 15mins. Changed my PIN and withdrew 100 bucks (50 for this week and 50 to pay back lisuan.) Spent 10 mins hunting for building 27A which wasn't listed on the map. Until I walked pass the UQ Sports hall for like the 3rd time, and saw a map. Walking towards the map, I casted around searching for the number 27A, and with a realisation that, bloody hell, this was the one. The BIG YOU ARE HERE sign ensured that. Grrr. Walked up to the lecture hall, and waited outside, sweating profusely. (It finally rained after 1 week of heat) but walking around frantically isn't the best way to stay cool. Being not very sure I was at the right place, I asked around, and the guy wasn't even sure too. So he asked another guy and Bingo! we're at the right place. Heh. Interesting lecture, though horror of horrors, I saw a certain someone come sit at my row. What luck, the theatre was big enough for 400 people and he sits like one seat away from me. I studiously avoided looking at him :D Kinda bad hearted of me. Heh. I also realised there's alot of work to do :( 4 weeks for one assignment and there's no hint on how to go about it. I need to grab the library copy of the textbook asap and readthrough and make illegal photocopying. So I need to also start doing some research and ask questions. I'll check after the first tutorial. I should get some hints there. The course is moving in PBL direction (Problem Based Learning), which was used in poly (first guinea pig batch) but unlike poly, it's like the whole bloody course. Which reminds me, why am I paying for education when if like they say, I can just go and learn myself.... oh well. Dropped by Connie's place for lunch, met up with Wai Kit, who's revising his last sem study materials. Hardworking sia. Chatted with David, got invited to the housewarming party, delegated to bring drinks. Sigh. I can cook! really! oh and bloody big spider outside their house. *shudders* Oh and that person is coming too. Seems he's David's ex classmate from secondary school. What a bloody coincidence. I think the guy up there is in fine form today. Went back to school at 3 with Connie and Wai Kit, they both wanted to surf net and I was waiting for Huimin to finish classes. GUESS WHO I BUMPED INTO OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG. Bloody small world. I saw Huishi from CMM. I was like wtf!!!omg!!bbq!!! and she was like omg omg omg !! !! !! :D This is such a small world man. hohoho. So after watching Connie and WaiKit settle into the 4 hour booked study room, I got bored, so I told them I'd be leaving first to go look for some textbooks to browse. That failed though as Huimin called just as I stepped outside the Law Library. So meeting her, we walked around aimlessly and getting punched for commenting on her ANTI-SOCIAL DAD! :D (I made a few more similar remarks as we went out haha), We finally decided to take the City Cat (Ferry service operating on the Brisbane River) back to the city. WOW WOW WOW (BloodyFantasticWind). Pics to come when I can upload them or get a better camera phone (hopefully), It started drizzling abit but it was a refreshing change to the constant heat of the last few days. We walked to the Southbank cinemas and watched Spanglish. Really nice show, good script, well acted, and Adam Sandler doesn't sing in this. :D We walked back towards the city, grabbed a bite at Subway, saw Huimin to the busstop and den I went home. Great day! Got a lot of research to do. Hmm but i have some ideas on to what to write for the assignment. Go me! Laterz

Last two days were boredom man. i finished KoToR 2 Light side, gonna work on Dark Side but i'm bored to death. stupid game has really crappy ending. *pissed*. i've been lazing at home last few days i did go jogging yesterday. my muscles are getting back into non pain stage so tomolo looks like i can run. yay! the temp in the room gets really hot and can be quite scary when my cpu temperature starts climbing. did some modifications today. shifted the fan around. hope it works. may have to shift another fan tomorrow i think. just checked my uni course materials too. omg at the quiz. all about australian culture. argh spent quite a while digging up the answers. will continue tomorrow. this sucks btw. oh well. sch's starting. let's hope eug comes to uq too. haha more ppl the merrier :)

yoyoyo wassup all. sorry for the delay in updating been a busy week. had alot of stuff to do around campus and been exploring more of the place with lisuan connie joanne and joey(or joe). so anyway, connie's housemates have finally arrived and what a bunch of characters they are. well, mainly whye kit ( no idea how to spell ur name !!! ). he's one funny funny fellow. u should hear his tegalog accent :D ROFL LMAO. had dinner at their place. kinda nice. i saved the pasta from congealing into one large sticky mess! i'll get pics up when david (their housemate) gets their internet running and uploads the pictures to me. yoohooo so anyway today's market day but i feel really lazy and i wanna play KoToR2 so i'm not going to school. muahahhaa. also very tired. finally started jogging in like ages. at least i did my warmup correctly so my muscles aren't aching. but..but i missed out on my ankles so now they ache. argh. if they feel better i'll go jogging later at night when it's cooler. dum dee dum laterz

G'day mates! so here i am in australia brisbane studying... hehe in UQ for all who dunno. anyway i'm homestaying with the Tans, from Malaysia who are a nice bunch of people. meaning i can get homecooked food almost everyday woohooo :D So i just went for the APP thingy today. Acadamic Preparation program. It's a bunch of crap. haha I met some people today too. quite nice. some guys who are here to study IT for a year, some girls from malaysia, singapore and india, and some other europeans. Quite interestingly, the English girl is actually studying Law in Australia instead of England cos she hates the weather. LoL. Anyway what happened after the APP was that because i didn't bring my passport along to campus (as no bloody MENTION of it was made that u need it for enrolment) so i couldn't do anything. So I sorta tagged along with Connie (singaporean from NYP) who went to make her bank acct and stuff. why i tagged along? cos when i left the bloody lecture theatre only she was left around that i recognised from my first group. yippy doo da (uh huh) so anyway she was waiting for her fren's fren who picked her up at the airport. since we couldn't find her we sorta walked around the campus for awhile. when we finally met lisuan, (malaysian, about to grad in july) she brought us to go makan and i met erm sherpa (or that's how i think it's spelled...(lawyer from india doing her Masters!!!!) anyway we got to know each other better. oh we also found Peiwen(from malaysia too, lost and looking really worried, cos she had no accomodation yet) so after the girls enrolled and me tagging along (MSN ME FOR REAL REASON WHY I DIDN"T GO BACK YET!!!) we went to the school of BEL (business economics tourism and law (missing "T" dunno why. dun ask me why also)computer labs for awhile while the gers finished enrolling. Lisuan was kind enough to use her pw to let us surf net while i waited for them to pick their courses and stuff. wonder if they are nice enough to wait for me too. ha ha. anyway after that we headed out to sherpa's place and then onwards to visit the place that lisuan helped peiwen to book and appointment to look for the place. let me tell u this lisuan is a really really really really really really nice and helpful person. super impressed by her attitude. she even went to check bus schedule for me so i can catch the bus back to Eight Mile Plains(the place i'm residing at). so after walking and talking to them i headed home. waited 20mins for stupid bus. fell asleep on bus. lost the damn ticket. had to pay another 3.20 AUD for another ticket. tmd. bus fare here today just cost me clsoe to 10 bucks. until i get my concession card, which i can't cos i dun have my student card DUE TO UQ NOT SAYING U NEED A PASSPORT FOR ENROLEMENT! i wonder if they have indirect liability. hohoho. seems my law stuff i learned are slowly sinking back up. though i think i just made up the last part. could be bullshit as i can't remember my studies much. haha. so anyway.... it's been a fun long interesting day. here's looking towards tomorrow. more updates on australia soon. (got reason to blog le! woohoo! my mundane existance after ORD has now some things to blog about hohoho)
